Pitch Counter & Stat Tracker is a baseball pitch counting application that aims to offer a comprehensive approach to tracking pitching statistics during games. Users have the option to access these statistics for review or share them via email or text for further analysis.

The user-friendly interface is designed to streamline the tracking process, enabling most actions to be completed with just a single touch. While most interactions require minimal user input, there are instances where two touches may be necessary to ensure the accuracy of the recorded statistics. In cases of data input errors, the Undo feature provides a simple way to make corrections swiftly.

The FREE version of the app offers complete functionality but is limited to tracking up to five (5) pitching outings. Users can explore the features and benefits of the app with this version and then opt to upgrade to the PRO version through an In-App purchase for unlimited tracking capabilities.

Pitch Counter supports the management of relief pitchers, maintaining data continuity and ensuring an accurate representation of the game state. Transitioning between pitchers is seamless, with detailed information on previous pitchers readily accessible. Corrections or adjustments can be made effortlessly across different relief pitchers without losing overall pitching data.

The app provides diverse reporting options for analyzing pitching and game statistics:

• Outing: Displays summarized statistics and event logs for a specific outing, inclusive of a CSV file attachment for detailed event tracking.
• Game: Offers summarized statistics for the current outing and comprehensive event logs for all pitchers involved in the game, complete with a CSV file attachment for thorough analysis.
• Season: Presents season-wide statistics aggregated from all games associated with the selected pitcher. Pitch outings are matched based on pitcher names, enabling a comprehensive overview of performance metrics across different games. The matching process is case insensitive, allowing for precise data comparison.

Report attachments in CSV format can be opened in spreadsheet applications for in-depth analysis. The app automatically calculates ERA based on varying game lengths (5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 innings) by default. Users can adjust these settings based on their preferences or requirements, ensuring accurate statistical calculations for each report generation.

The app provides feedback through vibration confirmation for button touches if enabled in the standard iOS Settings app, enhancing user interaction and experience.
